The name basically says it all, this dip is chunky. This dip is very green. This dip is also spicy, and yep it’s a chickpea base. What the name doesn’t say is that this dip is so fresh and easy to make you’ll want it every damn day.
This dip is the perfect starter to any summer get together or party. Pair it will some veggies and pita and you are good to go! Watch it disappear and people beg for more.

Chunky Green Spicy Chickpea Dip
- 1 can chickpeas
- 1 cup kale
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 1/3 cup green onion
- 1 jalapeno
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/4 cup water
- pinch of salt
- Drain and rinse a can of chickpeas.
- To a food processor add your chickpeas, kale, cilantro, green onion, jalapeno, garlic, tahini and lime juice and process until chunky.
- Add your oil and water to the food processor and process until smoother. It should still be chunky just creamier now.
- Serve with toasted pita, vegetables and tortilla chips.
